I'm back....

SO a long, long time ago, I started a blog.  It was filled with random thoughts about my favorite things - fashion, life, parenting and travel.

as we got deeper into building/needing a website, it was harder and harder to find an option where I could have a one stop shop of BOTH a blog and a website.  So the blog sort of fell to the waste side.

BUT now we have a fancy new website that allows me to blog all in one spot, so I'm excited to say I'M BACK!

Let's start with the basics...

who am I? well, my name is lauren.  I'm a mom, a wife, a business owner, a "blogger" 😜, a short order chef, a chauffeur, a dry cleaner and SO much more.

I'm married to my favorite guy, mike. we've been married ALMOST 10 years & we have the most beautiful four boys, "the Os".  All four of them have "O" names, hence the nickname "the Os".  It wasn't planned, it just happened.

about 4 and 1/2 years ago we decided we wanted to go to Disney World, but we didn't have the $$ to pay for it, so we started slinging women's clothes.  I like to say the rest is history :)

we truly never planned to do this, it just happened. how you might ask? because we have the most amazing community of women (and men) in the whole entire world. they support us and each other, each and every day.  they've helped us form this little tiny platform that allows us to keep you fashionable, but more importantly allows you to find a place in this world where you can be your true authentic self.

life is messy, now more than ever.  what I have found in the last 6 months is that we need people who love us unconditionally, who support us when we're at our best and more importantly, at our worst. I can truly say that I have found that support here, with the ladies of shop lauren and mike.

I invite you to jump on over to our Facebook community.  perhaps, you'll jump in two feet first and start commenting and posting. you'll probably meet your new long distance bestie. maybe, you're more of the silent lurker.  watching from afar, not saying much and totally judging my inability to twerk. I'm totally fine with that.  perhaps, you're somewhere in-between the Chatty Cathy and the silent Stacy. maybe you just like to throw down a like or an emoji from time to time. regardless, we'd love to have you.

so, that's my story in a nutshell. make sure to check back in from time to time.  I'll just be here yapping away about all of the things, hoping someone yaps back.

xoxo
